RIBBONS AND REEVES invites applications from talented Psychology Graduates to fill the role of SEN Teaching Assistant at a reputable Secondary School in York. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and helping them achieve their full potential.

About the Role:

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely with experienced teachers and other support staff to provide general assistance to the teaching team. You will be responsible for supporting the class teacher with pupil behaviour and learning, preparing lesson plans, and providing additional support to students who require it.

About You:

  • You must have a minimum 2.1 degree from a Top 30 UK University.
  • You should be a motivated and enthusiastic individual with excellent communication skills.
  • You will need to be flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • You are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the students.
