A leading electronics design company in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, is looking for an Electronic Product Development Manager to oversee their design team. The company produces a wide range of fire detection technologies sold nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing design and development of electronic products, including prototyping and testing
  • Leading the team as the primary point of contact for electronics-related matters
  • Creating work plans, engineering reports, and operational manuals
  • Mentoring and coaching team members, including recruitment and development
Requirements:
  • Substantial experience in product development, preferably in electronics
  • Proficiency with Altium 365 or similar tools
  • Track record of delivering high-quality designs in regulated environments
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Salary around £65,000 - £85,000, including benefits such as a generous pension scheme and opportunities for career growth

This role requires approximately 3-4 days of on-site work per week, with flexibility dependent on project requirements.
