The Christie NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Nurse Specialist to join our esteemed cancer unit, dedicated to delivering exceptional patient outcomes and experiences. Our CCU is one of only two level 3 critical care facilities in the UK exclusively catering to cancer patients.

Main Responsibilities
  • With a minimum of three years' experience in an acute hospital setting and a postgraduate Level 3 qualification, you will be confident in utilizing advanced skills to fulfill your role. Additionally, you will have a genuine interest in developing acute cancer care skills and upholding our team's values.

We offer a range of employment opportunities, including permanent and fixed-term positions, as well as full and part-time schedules.

Our multidisciplinary team provides comprehensive care, encompassing radiotherapy, chemotherapy, highly specialized surgery, and support services. You will also contribute to our renowned early clinical trial unit, assessing and prioritizing the needs of critically ill patients and their families.

Required Qualifications and Skills
  • RGN Level 1 or 2
  • Degree, Diploma, or equivalent in nursing studies
  • Post-Registration certificate in critical care
  • Mentorship course

Please note that we require candidates with extensive experience in relevant specialties. A salary in the region of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum is expected, depending on location and qualifications.
