Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Senior Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Electrical Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of electrical systems in accordance with relevant regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Assess and modify existing aircraft electrical systems to integrate hydrogen fuel cell powertrains.
  2. Develop new electrical wiring interconnect system (EWIS) designs and processes for novel systems such as high-voltage electrical systems and hydrogen fuel supplies.
  3. Integrate new cockpit systems, including human-machine interface (HMI), to monitor and control the integrated powertrain.
  4. Design and develop using Siemens NX software and available tools.
  5. Cockpit systems and installation.
  6. Aircraft electrical systems and installation.
  7. Aircraft modifications and repairs.
  8. Perform analysis and testing of cockpit & aircraft electrical systems and installations to verify compliance with specifications and requirements.
  9. Conduct inspections and audits to ensure quality and conformity.
  10. Troubleshoot and resolve on-aircraft issues and problems using diagnostic equipment and tools.
  11. Support and conduct safety assessments and analyses in line with ARP4754B and ARP4761.

Requirements

  1. Experience using Siemens NX software.
  2. Electro-mechanical systems integration experience.
  3. Minimum 5 years systems engineering experience.
  4. Applicable degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering.
  5. Knowledge of aircraft design principles.
  6. Ability to produce and check engineering drawings.
