Operational Compliance Manager

Polaris Community, a leading provider of children's services in the UK, is seeking an Operational Compliance Manager to join their Estates Team. This role involves ensuring the delivery of health and safety-related actions and associated paperwork as required by Ofsted and other governing bodies.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining up-to-date knowledge of health and safety legislation and communicating key updates to senior management and staff. They will ensure the delivery of health and safety-related actions and associated paperwork as required by Ofsted and other governing bodies.
Main Responsibilities:
- To ensure the delivery of health and safety-related actions and associated paperwork as required by Ofsted and other governing bodies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of health and safety legislation and communicate key updates to senior management and staff.
- Embed robust monitoring of all aspects of health and safety across all component company offices.
- Develop and maintain health and safety policies and procedures.
- Lead the achievement of external health and safety accreditation as necessary.
The successful candidate will possess excellent computer literacy skills, including Microsoft Office proficiency, and be able to produce reports. They should have strong influencing and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and handle changing priorities.
A salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including 30 days annual leave increasing to 35 days with length of service, company pension scheme, life insurance, employee discount scheme, and free parking.
