As a Carbon Management Expert at Groupe Ecoact, you will play a pivotal role in helping our clients create business value through carbon, energy, and sustainability management. With a strong focus on delivering robust science-aligned net-zero strategies, you will work closely with our team of international climate experts to understand our clients' carbon footprints and develop achievable management plans.

We are seeking an experienced Sustainability Consultant Lead to join our advisory team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing and delivering a range of carbon, energy, and sustainability projects across various sectors. Your expertise in climate change mitigation and adaptation strategies, as well as your ability to communicate complex information effectively, will be invaluable assets in this role.

The ideal candidate will have multiple years of post-graduate experience working within carbon and sustainability services. You will have a proven track record of supporting clients on a range of projects, ideally demonstrated through client consulting engagements in the private sector. Additionally, you will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to produce well-presented, error-free results.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Supporting and project managing a wide variety of projects across the A-Zero spectrum of the EcoAct offering, including SBTis, Corporate Carbon Footprints, Compliance, and Climate Finance.
  • Contributing to firm building and identifying improvements in our service offerings.
  • Confidently presenting to and leading client calls on project scope and deliverables.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Detailed knowledge of issues surrounding climate change, energy, greenhouse gas emissions, and sustainability.
  • Working knowledge and experience of carbon accounting, carbon measurement techniques, and calculation methods for Scopes 1, 2, and 3.
  • Excellent data handling skills and advanced knowledge of Excel is essential in this role.
