Veterinary Care Specialist

GLG Vets is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Veterinary Care Specialist to join our dynamic team in a full-time capacity. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the health and well-being of animals in the community.
The successful candidate will work a standard full-time schedule, with a salary range of up to £30,000 per year, depending on experience. This role is ideal for a dedicated and compassionate individual who is passionate about providing exceptional animal care.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide High-Quality Veterinary Care: Diagnose and treat a wide range of animal conditions, ensuring the highest level of care and compassion for our patients.
- Perform Surgeries and Administer Vaccinations: Conduct surgeries and administer vaccinations, providing expert advice to pet owners on animal health and well-being.
- Lead a Team of Veterinary Professionals: Lead a team of veterinary professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations and exceptional patient care.
- Maintain Accurate Patient Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with veterinary regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with Fellow Vets and Support Staff: Work closely with fellow vets and support staff to ensure seamless operations and exceptional patient care.
- Veterinary Degree and Registration: Hold a veterinary degree and be registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).
- Experience in Small Animal Practice: Possess experience in small animal practice, with a strong understanding of animal behavior and health.
- Strong Communication and Teamwork Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and manage a busy caseload.
- Commitment to Excellent Client Service and Animal Care: Show a strong commitment to providing exceptional client service and animal care, with a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
