**Unlock New Possibilities with Normal Computing Corporation**
We're a leading technology company at the forefront of thermodynamic computing. Our innovative approach has the potential to revolutionize the AI landscape, and we need your expertise to make it happen.
Job Description:
We're seeking an experienced Thermodynamic Computing Engineer to join our silicon and hardware R&D team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing novel thermodynamic computing architectures. Your primary focus will be on developing and owning the mixed-signal computational core of our architecture, as well as the analog-to-digital interface circuits that enable seamless interaction with digital systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the entire development process of our silicon, from concept to implementation to tape-out.
- Implement complex analog and mixed-signal components in Cadence Virtuoso, including analog-to-digital converters, amplifiers, memory cells, and oscillators.
- Collaborate closely with the silicon and hardware R&D team to ensure successful tape-out, bring-up, and testing of our silicon.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated expertise in working on analog-to-digital and/or digital-to-analog converters that push the boundaries of performance, power consumption, accuracy, or area.
- Proficiency in VerilogA for modeling analog and mixed-signal circuits and devices, with experience leveraging those models to deliver system-level performance estimates.
- Experience in scripting languages, including Python, Perl, and/or TCL.
- Familiarity with Cadence Virtuoso for design and layout of analog blocks.
- Understanding of design techniques to minimize mismatch and parasitics while maximizing performance.
- Strong understanding of design for manufacturability, transistor mismatch, and yield.
Benefits:
- Competitive salary range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
- Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
- Ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
