Financial Controller Opportunity

Are you a seasoned financial professional looking to take on a leadership role in a rapidly growing financial service SME? We have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Controller to join our team in Bury, Greater Manchester.

About the Role

In this key position, you will be responsible for leading and developing the finance function to deliver timely and accurate financial information to senior stakeholders. This will include management accounts, KPIs, risk reporting, and ad hoc reporting to support the senior management team. You will need to have extensive experience in continuous improvement of processes to drive financial performance.

What You'll Need

To succeed in this role, you will need to be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified and have experience in people development and performance management. You will have previously managed a financial function and delivered management accounts to tight deadlines. You will also need to be able to business-partner with non-financial colleagues and drive the message about how their inputs impact the finance function. A strong knowledge of financial standards and statutory reporting is essential, with experience working with Microsoft Dynamics being beneficial.
