Established Insurance Brokerage Seeks Senior Account Broker

The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Account Broker to join our flagship Coventry branch. As a Senior Account Broker, you will be responsible for taking over an existing book of commercial business, providing exceptional customer service, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take over an existing portfolio of commercial insurance policies and provide market-leading broking services to clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships with clients, identifying opportunities to grow their business.
  • Work closely with the team to ensure seamless delivery of services and achieve business objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and trends, ensuring the highest level of expertise in commercial insurance.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement business strategies.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Contribute to the development of new business opportunities and partnerships.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an Account Broker, Account Handler, or Account Manager in the commercial insurance industry.
  • Cert CII as a minimum qualification, with Dip CII advantageous.
  • Strong business development skills and ability to build relationships with clients.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary up to £45,000.
  • CII qualification support.
  • Hybrid working arrangement, with 2 days working from home per week.
  • 25 days of annual leave, plus bank holidays.
  • Death in service benefit.
