Job Title: ECRS Mk2 Systems Engineer

Location: Warton – A range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements are available.

  1. Manage the Radar supplier through regular engineering reviews
  2. Contribute to the development of the ECRS Mk2 Radar Equipment through collaboration with the Supplier and internal stakeholders
  3. Support the finalisation of the RF Interoperability design
  4. Develop the ECRS Mk2 Radome
  5. Ensure necessary Eurofighter documentation is formalised, approved, and issued
  6. Review supplier-submitted documents for systems and equipment engineering in support of the Preliminary Declaration of Design and Performance (PDDP)
  7. Support the delivery of the Radar Equipment into sub-system test, Avionics systems integration, and flight test
  8. Provide EDR support to Integrated Test Facility activities for the testing of Radar Equipment

Your skills and experiences:

  1. A degree in a STEM subject or equivalent experience is preferred
  2. Experience in supplier management is ideal
  3. Knowledge of Airborne Radar Systems and Systems Integration is desirable
  4. Experience working on the Typhoon programme is desirable
  5. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with various stakeholders
  6. Ability to work effectively within a team while maintaining focus
  7. High level of self-motivation and strong organisational skills
