Psychological Leader for Adult Inpatient Services

At Greater Manchester Mental Health, we are seeking an experienced Psychological Leader to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a talented group of professionals and make a real difference in the lives of our patients.
Salary
We offer a competitive salary of £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits.
About the Role
This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and excellent communication abilities. As a Psychological Leader, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and guidance to the psychological services team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and improving outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective strategies to improve patient care and outcomes
- Provide clinical supervision and support to junior staff members
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care plans
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and services
Required Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will need: A postgraduate degree in Clinical Psychology or Counselling Psychology (or equivalent) Substantial experience working in adult mental health services, including leadership roles Strong clinical expertise and knowledge of evidence-based practices Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
