Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Building Safety Specialist to join our team at Innovus. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building safety management, with a proven track record of ensuring compliance with building regulations and standards.

This role is critical in maintaining the safety and integrity of buildings, particularly in high-rise and high-risk environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing building safety assessments, risk mitigation, and remediation projects, as well as leading the identification and application for government funding streams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and deliver comprehensive building safety assessments to identify potential hazards and risks.
  • Develop and implement remediation plans to address safety concerns, including fire safety improvements and structural works.
  • Lead the application process for government funding streams, such as the Building Safety Fund.
  • Manage budgets and costs associated with building safety projects.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure ongoing compliance with building safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Surveying, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in building safety management, with a focus on compliance and remediation.
  • Proven track record of leading complex building safety projects, including fire safety improvements and structural works.
  • Familiarity with government funding schemes related to building safety.

Benefits:

Our company offers a competitive salary range of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, pension scheme, and 25 days annual leave.
