Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join Opals Group as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, leading the cost management and contractual aspects of our projects. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in maximizing project profitability while maintaining high standards of quality and client satisfaction.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Develop and implement cost control measures to ensure that projects are delivered within budgetary constraints.
  • Prepare regular cost reports and forecasts for project stakeholders, highlighting key cost drivers and variances.
  • Analyze project performance against budgetary targets and recommend corrective actions as necessary.
  • Identify and assess risks associated with projects, developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies to minimize their impact.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quantity surveying, with extensive experience in managing complex construction projects. You will possess a Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying or a related field, as well as strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement processes, and cost management principles.
