Key Responsibilities- Capital Gains Tax Administration: Assist in all aspects of Capital Gains Tax administration, from service set-up through to investor reporting production.
- Query Resolution: Act as a contact point for queries raised across the business for CGT related queries related to internal custody or through our custodian Pershing Securities and SEI.
- MI Maintenance: Maintain MI relating to Tax Reporting functions, highlighting issues to the Tax Reporting Manager upon exposure.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements, and contribute to ad-hoc projects, as required.
- Compliance: Strict adherence to internal company policies and compliance procedures.
- Training and Competence: Undertaking training and competence reviews as required by the business.
- Experience: Previous experience of working in financial services/Investment Operations is desirable.
- Analytical Skills: Good analytical skills: proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong inter-personal and problem solving skills.
- Teamwork: Comfortable working in a team as well as independently
- Organisation: Highly organised and be able to multi-task effectively
- Adaptability: Adaptable to changes in process and the use of new systems
- Certification: Holding, or willing to study towards, the CISI 'Investment Operations Certificate (IOC)' is desirable
