Export and Import Planner

Streamline Services Consultancy Limited is seeking a meticulous and motivated Export and Import Planner to join our dynamic distribution hub based in Purfleet.

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to plan and coordinate export and import shipments for Full Truck Loads (FTL) and Full Container Loads (FCL). The successful candidate will ensure the smooth and efficient transportation of goods, liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customers, and monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate export and import shipments for FTL and FCL.
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation for all shipments.
  • Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customers to ensure efficient transport.
  • Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Resolve any issues or delays that arise during the shipping process.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to streamline logistics operations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of import/export regulations and compliance requirements.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in freight forwarding is preferred but not essential. Full training will be provided.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and systems.
