Access Talent Group is partnering with a leading industry player in Building Control to find a Senior Surveyor to strengthen their team in Royal Tunbridge Wells.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Building Control Surveyor to join a forward-thinking company that values work-life balance and offers flexible working arrangements.

The company is an established approved inspector providing services to the commercial and domestic markets across the UK. They are seeking a Building Control Surveyor to perform plan appraisals, statutory consultations, and site inspections, as well as develop their existing client base in Liverpool.

Requirements:

  • Chartered membership of a relevant professional institution (RICS, CABE, CIOB)
  • Experience in the construction industry with relevant experience in Building Control
  • Experience of plan appraisal of residential developments and associated non-residential uses
  • Awareness of forensic investigations of buildings, defect identification, and repair
  • Proven ability to make pragmatic and value-driven decisions on compliance with Building Regulations
  • Able to work with minimal supervision, in line with established policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of environmental issues and relevant standards/legislation
