SENCO Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SENCO to join our team at a highly successful comprehensive school. As a SENCO, you will play a vital role in ensuring that students with special educational needs receive the support and resources they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of inclusive education practices
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to provide high-quality teaching and learning for students with special needs
  • Conduct training and professional development for staff on inclusive education and SEN
  • Work closely with parents and carers to ensure effective communication and support
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in SEN and inclusive education

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher with QTS
  • National Award for SEN Co-ordination or willingness to complete within 3 years
  • Degree in a relevant subject area
  • Successful teaching experience in a relevant subject area
  • Demonstrated student-centered approach to teaching and learning
