Blaymires Recruitment Ltd is representing a leading refurbishment contractor based near Ringwood, Hampshire, who is searching for an Estimator / Surveyor to join the business. The company has a long-standing reputation for undertaking refurbishment, restoration, fit-out, shopfitting, and extension projects across the UK. They work for an extensive list of blue-chip clients across the Retail, Leisure, Education, Medical, Historical, and Office sectors with project values ranging from £200K to £3M.
Due to a steady increase in workload, they are looking to recruit an Estimator/Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor with schedule of rates and traditional pricing experience who will be able to price jobs and financially manage 2 to 3 live projects through to final account. The nature of the projects you will be working on is fast-paced and will require a high degree of organization as well as needing to visit sites when required. You will be joining a friendly and supportive contractor who has long-term plans to grow and will offer a stable and interesting career.
Key Responsibilities- Tendering projects and estimating job costs.
- Measuring, variations, and final accounts management.
- Commercial control of subcontractors.
- Reporting, forecasting, and risk management.
- Supply chain commercial improvement with suppliers and contractors.
- Commercial awareness and reporting.
- Refurbishment, fit-out, or shopfitting background would be an advantage.
- Salary £55,000 + £5,000 Car Allowance + 25 Days Holiday + Pension.
