Production Coordinator - Mars Wrigley Plymouth

Weekend Shift 29 hours - Sat/Sun - (6am - 6pm / 6pm - 6am) rotating plus 5 additional hours in the week (Flexible)

Mars Wrigley is seeking a highly skilled Production Coordinator to join our factory team in Plymouth. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our production processes.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the production team to achieve high-quality output and meet production targets.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with the scheduling department to plan and coordinate production schedules.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of production data and performance metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
  • Manage and coordinate the purchase of equipment, tools, and services.
  • Develop and implement a best-in-class learning and development program for the production team.

Requirements:

Proven experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of SAP and Microsoft-based systems.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
