Commodity Data Analyst Role

We are seeking a skilled Commodity Data Analyst to join our team at Paragon Alpha - Hedge Fund Talent Business. As a key member of our commodity team, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting large datasets to inform trading decisions.

Our firm has a strong focus on data-driven trading, and we are looking for a talented individual who can leverage their technical skills in Python and SQL to drive business outcomes.

The successful candidate will have experience working with commodity data, as well as a strong understanding of data analytics and data science concepts. They will be able to integrate various data sets into trading strategies for our portfolio management teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and interpret large datasets to inform trading decisions
  • Develop and maintain data models and algorithms to support trading strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data into trading workflows

Requirements:

  • Strong technical skills in Python and SQL
  • Experience working with commodity data
  • Strong understanding of data analytics and data science concepts
