Aspire Data Recruitment is seeking a skilled Statistical Modelling Analyst to join our client's cutting-edge analytics team. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage data and analytics to drive business decisions and achieve success.

The Role
  • Contribute to the development of advanced analytics solutions to accurately value portfolios and increase profit on previous purchases.
  • Apply machine learning and advanced analytical techniques to enhance prediction accuracy and improve existing models.
  • Design and implement new tools and models for analysis and valuation of potential accounts and portfolios, ensuring thorough testing and validation of results.
  • Present and explain valuations and predictions to the Investment Committee and stakeholders, effectively communicating complex insights.
  • Delve into data and raw information through statistical analysis to uncover trends and patterns that can be leveraged to extract valuable business insights.
  • Develop predictive models, such as scorecards, using statistical tools and techniques.
  • Participate in internal Analytical Labs to push the boundaries of modelling, predictive analytics, and business insights, staying up-to-date with the latest developments in Data Science and analytics.
Candidate Profile
  • Proven experience working with large data sets and applying quantitative analysis/modelling to drive business results.
  • Proficiency in statistical computing languages R, Python, or SAS to manipulate data and draw insights from those data sets.
  • Experience with databases (SQL) is highly beneficial.
  • Strong problem-solving and creative skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
  • Experience and interest in model development.
  • High level of integrity and dependability, with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
  • Ability to communicate and interact with various people at all levels, effectively presenting findings to non-analysts.
