An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Nurse to work in a reputable hospital based in the Bristol area.

This is one of the leading hospitals for the treatment of individuals, families, and couples facing a wide range of psychiatric conditions.

To be considered for this position, you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse (RMN or RNLD) with a current active NMC Pin.

Key duties include:

  • Developing and implementing individual patient care plans, communicating outcomes to the clinical team and keeping CPA and risk assessment documentation up to date.
  • Ensuring effective communication of any concerns relating to patient care.
  • Deputising in the absence of the Ward Manager and their Deputy, managing the staffing and clinical needs of the ward as required.
  • Supporting and supervising new or junior staff.

The following skills and experience would be beneficial for the role:

  • Knowledge of the Mental Health/Capacity Act and its implications for practice.
  • Patient-centric approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
  • Excellent decision-making skills.
  • Strong organisational capacity and effective communication skills.
  • Flexibility and a strong “can-do” attitude.

The successful Nurse will receive an excellent salary up to £38,716.40 per annum DOE, along with a generous welcome bonus, enhancements, and relocation support up to £3,000 depending on distance relocating.
