Right Now Recruitment is working with an International Freight Forwarding company to find a highly skilled Ocean Export Operator. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a busy Ocean Department for a Freight Forwarder, with a strong understanding of Export processes.

  • Build and develop relationships with customers to ensure a high level of service
  • Ensure all freight is moved and delivered on time, with necessary documentation completed
  • Arrange haulage with shipping lines and hauliers
  • Resolve queries and requests efficiently and quickly
  • Communicate effectively with overseas agents, customers, and suppliers

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of Ocean Freight operations
  • Understanding of Export processes and procedures
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers
  • Manage and coordinate the movement of freight
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and procedures
  • Provide excellent customer service and support
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the Ocean Export team

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
