Are you a motivated and experienced Biotech Laboratory Specialist looking for a new challenge? CK Group is currently recruiting for a Biotech Laboratory Specialist to support the delivery of the company's R&D objectives. This role will be based at their site in Canary Wharf, on a permanent basis.

About the Role

The Biotech Laboratory Specialist will be responsible for independently designing, executing and analysing in vitro experiments, resulting in the delivery of high-quality work packages. Key responsibilities include performing established SOPs, assay development and optimisation, and supporting the screening of novel biologics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, execute and analyse in vitro experiments to deliver work packages to meet agreed objectives.
  • Develop and optimise assays to support the screening of novel biologics.
  • Contribute to the smooth running of the laboratory by performing cell culture, banking cell lines and isolating primary immune cells from whole blood.
  • Collaborate with R&D teams to generate data and present findings to the wider team.
Your Background

We are seeking a highly skilled individual with a PhD in a relevant biological discipline or MSc in Immunology or Cell Biology, with at least three years of relevant laboratory-based experience. Preference will be given to candidates with experience working in a company setting (Biotech or Pharma). The ideal candidate will have expertise in immunology research across a range of immune cell subtypes, particularly gamma delta T cell biology.

Compensation Package

The salary for this position is approximately £55,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, CK Group offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, pension scheme, and paid annual leave.
