Clinical Substance Misuse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Substance Misuse Specialist to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified prescribing healthcare professional to work in a community setting, assessing and supporting individuals with substance misuse issues.
Main Responsibilities:- Harm reduction and provision of support and advice in relation to substance misuse clinics
- Assessment and review of prescribed treatment plans
- Detoxification advice and vaccination and blood testing programmes
This role requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies to provide proactive support and education to individuals and communities affected by substance misuse.
About the Role:The successful candidate will have experience of prescribing in a community setting and be able to demonstrate continuous professional development. They will also have a successful track record of delivering nursing interventions and be able to evidence their experience of healthcare assessments, care planning, and key working.
