Residential Services Manager

Jobit is looking for a skilled Residential Services Manager to lead its children's home operations.
About the PositionThis is a full-time permanent role with an estimated salary range of £60,000 - £80,000 per year, along with excellent benefits and a private health insurance plan.
As a Registered Children's Home Manager, you will be responsible for leading the operations of the home, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering a safe, supportive environment for children and young people.
- You will oversee placement plans, manage budgets, and implement Children's Homes Regulations.
- Additionally, you will lead safeguarding practices, monitor quality assurance systems, and conduct performance appraisals.
- Furthermore, you will ensure health and safety policies are implemented, including risk assessments and fire safety procedures.
To excel in this role, you should have:
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager or in a similar role.
- Experience managing children's homes or similar settings.
- Excellent leadership and organisational skills.
- Ability to mentor and develop a diverse team.
- Strong communication skills.
