Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional veterinary care and treatment to a diverse range of animals, prioritizing their health and well-being.
  • Perform routine check-ups, surgeries, and emergency care as required, ensuring the highest standards of professionalism and compassion.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for each patient, facilitating seamless communication between colleagues and promoting evidence-based practice.
  • Collaborate closely with a talented team of veterinary nurses and support staff to deliver comprehensive care and ensure the smooth operation of the clinic.
  • Evaluate and improve clinical workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity, contributing to the continuous improvement of the clinic's services.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Veterinary degree (MRCVS or equivalent) and commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team, prioritizing flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in both routine and emergency veterinary care is highly desirable, with a strong focus on safety and quality assurance.
  • Commitment to adhering to best practices, maintaining high standards of hygiene and animal welfare, and promoting a culture of respect and inclusivity.

Work Details:

  • This full-time position involves working 39 hours per week over 4 days, offering a great balance of work-life harmony and career progression opportunities.
  • The rota includes 1:3 Saturdays or 1:6 Saturday and Sundays, providing flexibility and choice for successful candidates.
