Save the Children is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Accountability and Child Participation Coordinator. This position will play a critical role in ensuring that our programs are accountable to children and communities, and that their voices are heard and valued.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a comprehensive accountability framework that ensures our programs are transparent, accountable, and responsive to the needs of children and communities.
- Work closely with program teams to ensure that accountability and child participation processes are integrated into all aspects of our work.
- Provide technical support and capacity building to staff and partners on accountability and child participation.
- Conduct regular monitoring and evaluation of accountability and child participation processes to ensure they are effective and efficient.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including children, communities, and partners, to ensure that their voices are heard and valued.
- 4+ years of experience in a related field, including experience in accountability and child participation.
- Strong understanding of child rights and international humanitarian law.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Fluency in English and Arabic (written and spoken).
- Experience in designing and implementing accountability and child participation systems.
- Knowledge of Save the Children's policies and procedures.
- Experience working in a humanitarian context.
