About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Mechanical Apprentice to join our team in the Poole region. As a Mechanical Apprentice, you will play a vital role in assisting our experienced engineers with mechanical installations, repairs, and maintenance across various client sites.

As part of our Apprentice intake for September 2024, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in mechanical engineering while working alongside a team of experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in mechanical installations, repairs, and maintenance
  • Learn how to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  • Follow health and safety procedures and wear personal protective equipment
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements
  • Strong interest in mechanical engineering
  • Enthusiastic and motivated to learn
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team
  • Good communication skills
  • Reliable and punctual
  • GCSEs in Maths, English, and Science
  • Due to the nature of the work, you must be 18+ years old
  • A full UK driving license and own vehicle are necessary

  • Previous work experience or education related to engineering
  • Basic knowledge of tools and equipment used in mechanical work
