Pastoral Support Team Member Opportunity

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our Pastoral Support team as a Pastoral Support Coordinator. The successful candidate will work directly with students, under the direction of the Pastoral Team Leader and Senior staff, to co-ordinate support provision for students who need help in overcoming barriers to learning and developing their potential by raising standards of behaviour for learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with students on a day-to-day basis to provide support and guidance.
  • Co-ordinate support provision for students who need help in overcoming barriers to learning.
  • Develop and implement strategies to raise standards of behaviour for learning.
  • Liaise effectively with a wide range of people including parents, teachers, students, and support staff.

Requirements:

  • High expectations and a commitment to raising standards of attainment.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of teaching and behaviour management strategies.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to use ICT confidently.
  • Experience of working with children and/or students is desirable.
