Furniture Shop Assistant

Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Furniture Shop Assistant to join our team at Sue Ryder in Pinner. As a key member of our donation and sales team, you will be responsible for receiving and sorting donations, building and displaying furniture items, and providing exceptional customer service.
About the Role
- Receiving and sorting donations of furniture and other items
- Building and preparing furniture items for sale
- Greeting and assisting customers, including transporting heavy items
- Maintaining a clean and tidy shop environment
Requirements
- Able to follow instructions to build furniture to a high standard
- Able to lift and move heavy furniture items
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work as part of a team and maintain a positive attitude
