About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and qualified counsellor to play a key role in our established Bereavement and Family Support team. The successful candidate will have a degree or diploma in counselling, BACP or equivalent registration, and experience working in palliative care or a bereavement setting. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with patients, their families, and carers.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate their understanding of models of counselling and be able to apply this knowledge in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. They will also have the ability to work well autonomously and as part of a team, managing their own caseload and contributing to the development of new initiatives and services.

We offer a competitive salary of £37 per hour, contributory pension scheme, 28 days annual leave including Bank Holidays, and annual leave purchase scheme. We also offer regular support and benefit of group supervision, allowing you to continually develop your skills and knowledge in a supportive environment.
