Accounts Semi Senior Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Semi Senior to join our team at Alexander Kaye Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our clients and contributing to the success of our business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of financial statements and accounts for owner-managed businesses, including sole traders, companies, and partnerships
  • Client record processing and management accounts preparation
  • VAT returns and checking, as well as dealing with basic client queries
  • Assisting on audits and performing admin and other ad hoc tasks as required
Requirements:
  • AAT qualified or part way through ACCA/ACA studies
  • At least 1 year of experience in an accountancy practice
  • Good IT skills, with knowledge of Sage, Quickbooks, Xero, and CCH desirable but not essential
  • Effective time management and ability to work well under pressure and to deadlines
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
