Job Title: Practice Accountant/Client Services Accountant

About the Role:
Mem Recruitment is seeking a skilled Practice Accountant/Client Services Accountant to join our team in Nottingham. Our accounting practice provides a friendly, flexible, and proactive service to small businesses and individuals in the local area.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review limited company accounts and Corporation Tax returns.
- Manage bookkeeping and VAT tasks, including payroll experience.
- Complete sole trader accounts and self-assessments.
- Liaise with clients and review work.
- Utilize systems such as QuickBooks, VT, Excel, Moneysoft, Taxcalc, and Dext Prepare.

Requirements:
- AAT Level 4 and above or ACCA Part Qualification/QBE.
- Experience with the mentioned systems and tasks.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Ambition to manage the Nottingham branch and potentially become the franchisee in the long term.
- Ability to build rapport and establish proactive relationships with clients.
- Manage junior team members and delegate work to our outsourcing partner.
- Experience in managing workflow in conjunction with the office administrator.
