Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Develop Comprehensive Briefs: Collaborate with clients and senior colleagues to create thorough and detailed briefs for projects.
  • Cultivate Client Relationships: Foster strong relationships with clients to ensure ongoing satisfaction and partnership.
  • Support Business Development: Assist senior colleagues in business development endeavors, including identifying new opportunities and building relationships with potential clients.
  • Conduct Site Surveys: Conduct thorough site surveys, including measured surveys, condition assessments, and defect analyses.
  • Develop Designs and Specifications: Prepare designs and specifications, including tender documentation, for building projects.
  • Administer Building Contracts: Manage building contracts, adhering to standards such as JCT and NEC.
  • Execute Professional Surveying Tasks: Conduct various professional surveying tasks, including condition assessments, defect analyses, party wall consultations, dilapidations, insurance inspections, claims advice, and Reinstatement Cost Assessment valuations.
  • Foster Effective Communication: Develop and maintain effective communication and collaboration with clients, contractors, and other consultants, both internally and externally.
  • Support Team Leadership: Assist the team leader in managing project finances, recruitment, mentoring, and team leadership.
  • Requirements:
    • Hold a relevant degree approved by RICS.
    • Chartered Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).
    • Possess experience in advising on commercial, healthcare, or educational properties within either the public or private sector.
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or REVIT.
    • Familiarity with NBS Chorus.
    • Possession of a full UK Driving License.
