Girling Jones is a well-established maintenance contractor that is expanding its team in the region. We are seeking a skilled Multi-Skilled Carpenter to join our team and contribute to our success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance repairs in commercial properties to ensure they are safe and functional.
  • Replace and repair fire doors to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Fix leaks and replace taps to prevent water damage and maintain hygiene standards.
  • Repair ceilings to ensure they are secure and free from hazards.
  • Tiling, painting, and cladding to maintain the appearance and integrity of buildings.

Requirements:

  • A Level 3 qualification in a relevant trade, such as carpentry or joinery.
  • A Gold CSCS card to demonstrate your commitment to health and safety.
  • SSSTS or SMSTS certification to ensure you have the necessary knowledge and skills to manage site safety.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality work.
  • A clean driving license or access to your own van to enable you to travel to sites.
  • Your own tools, which are in good working condition.

About the Role
