Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Plumbing Teacher. The successful candidate will have a strong background in plumbing and a passion for education, with a minimum of 5-10 years' industry experience.

Responsibilities will include conducting lessons, practical demonstrations, and assessments aligned with college quality standards, while contributing to curriculum planning and adaptation to meet industry demands. The successful candidate will also engage in recruitment activities, support open days, and participate in team meetings.

Key requirements for this position include:

  • A Level 3 or higher qualification in Plumbing
  • At least 5-10 years of industry experience
  • GCSEs (Grade C/4 or equivalent) in Maths and English
  • A commitment to student safeguarding and welfare
  • An approachable personality
  • The willingness to undergo a DBS check

In return, we offer a competitive salary package, including a salary range of £27,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also receive additional grants, a Teachers pension of 28.68%, and a comprehensive benefits package, including 42 days holiday plus bank holidays and access to on-site parking and the gym.
