Job Title: Life Safety Equipment Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Life Safety Equipment Technician to join our team at CV Library. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining and servicing life safety equipment, emergency lighting, and fire alarm systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and servicing of life safety equipment, emergency lighting, and fire alarm systems.
  • Responding to emergency call-outs.
  • Carrying out remedial works and asset verification as required.
  • Installing replacement or additional equipment.
  • Participating in the on-call rota.
  • Conducting site surveys as needed.
  • Training apprentices.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in the industry.
  • FIA units (1,3,5).
  • Knowledge of British Standards BS 5839 & BS 5266.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure.

What We Offer:

Competitive salary of around £42,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
