We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our Timberland team in London. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the Store Manager and contributing to the success of our store.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Drive Sales and Profitability: Work in synergy with the Store Manager to drive sales and profitability in the store.
  2. Motivate and Mentor Sales Associates: Motivate, mentor, and coach sales associates to achieve their full potential.
  3. Implement Retail Processes: Assist the Store Manager in implementing established retail processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  4. Operational Procedures: Stay on top of core retail operational procedures such as inventory management, financial reporting, and visual merchandising.
  5. Performance Metrics: Report performance metrics and demonstrate understanding of key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve store results.
  6. Store Appearance: Ensure the store appears great, in line with the brand's visual merchandising guidelines.
  7. Store Coverage: Provide cover in the Store Manager's absence.

Requirements:

  • Initiative and Leadership: Take the initiative where the Store Manager is absent, demonstrating leadership skills.
  • Experience and Skills: Have experience in opening and closing a store, leading and motivating a team, and leading from the front to maximize sales and boost productivity.
  • Communication and Technical Skills: Have excellent written and verbal communication in English, and be proficient in the use of MS Office and different POS systems.
  • Flexibility: Be flexible when it comes to working weekends, evenings, and holidays as necessary.
