Job Summary:

We're seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our team in Manchester on a 6-month fixed-term contract. As a key member of our finance team, you'll play a crucial role in leading and managing our financial functions. Your primary responsibility will be to provide accurate and timely financial information to support decision-making.

Your key activities will include:

  • Overseeing the financial reporting process to ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards
  • Managing the internal and external audit process to ensure accuracy and transparency
  • Analysing working capital and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Developing and implementing processes to streamline financial operations

Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with a strong understanding of accounting principles
  • Proven experience in finance leadership, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis
  • Excellent technical skills, with a strong understanding of financial systems and processes
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
