Academics SEN Education Support Worker

About the Position: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Education Support Worker to join our Primary SEN School in EN1. The successful candidate will provide essential support to students with Autism, non-verbal communication needs, and SEMH challenges.
About the Role:
- Provide 1:1 or 2:1 support for students with Autism, non-verbal communication needs, and SEMH difficulties.
- Assist in delivering tailored learning interventions and activities to meet the individual needs of each child.
- Support students with their social, emotional, and academic development, ensuring they are fully included in classroom activities.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality support to students with complex needs.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Contribute to the development of a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with SEN students, especially those with Autism and SEMH needs, is essential.
- DBS clearance is required.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient approach to working with children.
- Ability to commit to a full-time role on a long-term basis.
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum
