About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Passenger Assistant to join our team at the HATS Group. As a Passenger Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of clients with special needs.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Escort and assist clients with special needs, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the journey.
  • Ensure safe entry and exit of clients from vehicles, utilizing appropriate means, including physical assistance for passengers with severe disabilities.
  • Communicate effectively with the Controller, reporting any problems or issues related to client transportation.
  • Apply health and safety standards to ensure the welfare of clients, including physically assisting passengers with disabilities and securing wheelchairs correctly.
  • Participate in maintaining a clean and tidy vehicle interior and exterior, adhering to required standards.
  • Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by the service.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse clients and staff.
  • Physical stamina to assist passengers with disabilities and work in a predominantly outdoor environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
