Job Overview

The Cardiff Office is seeking a skilled Heavy Goods Vehicle Technician to join their team. This exciting new opportunity involves the maintenance and repair of Heavy Goods Vehicles and Light Commercial Vehicles, ensuring they are safe and operational.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular inspections and diagnostics on HGVs, identify issues, and implement effective solutions.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic components.
  • Assemble and fabricate parts to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed on each vehicle.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by communicating with clients regarding their vehicle needs.
Requirements
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and experience in equipment repair.
  • Ability to lift heavy loads as required during repairs.
  • Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients.
  • Ability to assemble components accurately and efficiently.
