About the Job

Look Ahead Care and Support is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team in Richmond, providing flexible and individually tailored support packages to vulnerable individuals.

The successful candidate will work closely with customers to enable them to maintain their tenancy, stay well, exercise choice and control in their care and lives, and participate in the community. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a dynamic environment, while making a positive impact on people's lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake key-working responsibilities for a caseload assigned by the Team Leader/Manager
  • Conduct initial and continuous assessments of needs and potential risks
  • Create support/action plans to provide appropriate services based on the assessment
  • Build supportive, trusting relationships with customers
  • Work proactively with other members of the team to handle the service caseload and administrative responsibilities

$14,582 per annum (based on 20 hours per week)

About You

We are looking for someone who is passionate about social care, has excellent communication skills, and is able to work effectively with customers from diverse backgrounds. The ideal candidate will be able to build strong relationships with customers, manage complex situations, and work collaboratively as part of a team.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Up to NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent, or experience in the social care/charity sector
