Job Title: Clinical Training Officer - Resuscitation
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Training Officer - Resuscitation to join our Transformation Unit team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing a resuscitation training program for all members of the multidisciplinary team.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver high-quality resuscitation training programs to ensure the provision of excellent patient care.
- Assess clinical skills and provide remedial training and support for staff who require improvement.
- Ensure staff are aware of and adhere to Trust resuscitation policies and guidelines.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the resuscitation training program.
- Promote attendance at mandatory resuscitation training sessions.
- Collaborate with the Head of Resuscitation Services to provide resuscitation training to external agencies.
Requirements:
- Current RN / RODP / Paramedic qualification.
- Relevant postgraduate course in Critical Care, A&E, or a similar field.
- Experience in dealing with critically ill patients and/or cardiac arrest situations.
- Proficiency in using IT databases.
- Knowledge of governance issues and NHS standards relevant to resuscitation training and practice.
- Evidence of a structured approach to continuing professional development.
- Awareness of the legal aspects of resuscitation.
