About the Role

As a First Aid Trainer with the British Red Cross, you will play a vital role in presenting first aid training and specialist courses, teaching life-saving skills to individuals and groups. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and informative training sessions, using your expertise to help people develop the confidence to provide potentially lifesaving support in an emergency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver first aid training and specialist courses, teaching life-saving skills to individuals and groups.
  • Support people with their confidence to provide potentially lifesaving support in an emergency.
  • Travel to training venues, using your own vehicle and adhering to the organization's policies and procedures.

Requirements
  • Have an engaging personality, strong communication skills, and the ability to speak confidently in front of groups of people.
  • Be a strong listener, able to come up with solutions to problems, contest opinions, and provide feedback.
  • Hold a Training or Teaching qualification, or be willing to work towards one.
  • Be at ease working on your own and traveling to a range of training venues.
  • Be IT literate and have experience of preparing and delivering a range of training courses.
