We are seeking a skilled First Aid Trainer to join our team at the British Red Cross. As a First Aid Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering first aid training and specialist courses to individuals and groups. You will teach people how to respond to emergencies, provide basic life support, and use first aid equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver first aid training and specialist courses to individuals and groups.
  • Teach people how to respond to emergencies, provide basic life support, and use first aid equipment.
  • Support people with their confidence to provide potentially lifesaving support in an emergency.
  • Travel to training venues.

Requirements:
  • You have an engaging personality, are a strong communicator, and confident speaking in front of groups of people.
  • You love listening to others, coming up with solutions to problems, contesting opinions, and giving feedback.
  • You have a Training or Teaching qualification, or are prepared to work towards one.
  • You are at ease working on your own and traveling to a range of training venues.
  • You are IT literate.
  • You have experience of preparing and delivering a range of training courses, and are assertive in presenting to mixed ability groups.
