Pharmacy Business Systems Analyst

Job Summary:

CereCore is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Business Systems Analyst to join our team in the UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating the implementation of departmental systems, including workflow analyses and establishment of benchmarks for determining successful completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Workflow Analysis and Implementation: Coordinate the implementation of departmental systems, including workflow analyses and establishment of benchmarks for determining successful completion of projects.
  • Process Mapping: Undertake process mapping of all current pharmacy-related workflows, including medicines procurement and logistics, clinical pharmacy, and dispensing.
  • Business Requirements Analysis: Perform analysis of business and user needs and document requirements for business solutions, including evaluation of current departmental procedures and processes.
  • System Development: Gather and analyze information from multiple sources to develop system and business requirements, data dictionaries, use cases, and decision trees.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to verify findings and ensure proposed solutions are fit for purpose.
  • Project Management: Monitor daily activity, resolve problems, develop new methodologies, and interface with vendors in developing solutions to problems and submitting enhancement requests.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Compile data for and prepare regularly scheduled or special reports, analyses, and statements.
  • Integration and Testing: Support the integration of systems and participate in testing and checking of pathways before transfer to the new live system.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continually search for innovative ideas, concepts, and technology to improve ways of working.
  • Customer Focus: Anticipate and meet, or exceed, internal and/or external customer expectations and requirements.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience: Minimum experience requirement of 3 years working in or with UK hospital pharmacy/hospital/retail pharmacy IT development projects or projects with allied vendors and partners
  • Skills: Project and change management skills, in-depth knowledge and dexterity with statistical analysis, spreadsheet, and other software programs, excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
