Functional Assessor Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, or Paramedic to join our team as a Functional Assessor.
You will be conducting comprehensive assessments of individuals' abilities to carry out everyday activities, and creating detailed reports to support their claims. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong clinical knowledge and excellent communication skills.
The successful candidate will have 1+ years' experience in a relevant field and be registered with the NMC/HCPC. We offer full training and equipment, as well as the opportunity to develop your clinical knowledge and skills in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Conducting initial reviews, paper-based, face-to-face, video or telephone assessments.
- Observing and reporting on an individual's ability to carry out activities.
- Creating comprehensive reports of the evidence gathered for each claimant, each day.
- Ensuring enough detail, evidence and justification are given to support reports.
